Are we desperate or just lonely?

what are we looking for today? something to satify what we want or something to fill us up? are we looking for someone that we can only see physically or someone we can see inside and out. what is the point of anything nowadays if we are just satisfying and fulfilling. The difference?

When someone is satisfied it only lasts for a moment, and it fades away and you are yearning again.

When someone is fulfilled they stop searching for something to satisfy and to feed them because they are content.

Today even as i quit public school and all its dramatics, i see people who seem to be satisfied and not fulfilled, even the little petty high school relationships.

Are you really with them or are you in a relationship with their clothes?

their car?

their status?

their peers?

or to make your friends shut the hell up about your relationship status?

What are we trying to acomplish with these things, i want to know. I wish that it was possible to see where a relationship was going before time was wasted. Thats the one thing i think people can't afford to waste is time, because so often we lose it in things that aren't even worth it. The friends who stab us in the back, the people we get emotionally attatched to that hurt us, and things we lose. Everything is a waste or a piece of crap.
