where do you live ?

i realize more and more each day that people would much rather live in wonderland than reality. When in all actuality their thinking and logic does seem like it would come out of a rabbit hole (or another hole of sorts). Theres a saying about common sense about how it isnt so common, and what not but that seems to be fairly true these days. even the people who claim to have all the common sense in the world use logic like they are in kindergarden and make everything a much more complicated mess than it is.

Rumors for example.

Say theres this rumor going around "Sally Lovechild is a giant whore".

That rumor is going to eventually spread and Sally is going to eventually hear it, but what can Sally do? Sally is the only person who knows the real truth about her "sleeping habbits". Now Sally wants the truth out there so that her reputation can somewhat be salvaged.

So Sally whats the truth?

Sally's boyfriend left her at a party because he was drunk and sally hid in a room, and fell asleep hopefully until morning so that everything will be okay and nothing bad will happen. Well whats any drunk guy gunna do with a girl in room that has a bed. Exactly and that little secret is gunna be spread like butter all around the party. So now Sally is being taken advantage of left and right.

Sounds like the perfect excuse right?

Thats because the truth in all actuallity is unfaltered and is whole, which is perfect.

And perfect is something that people who use wonderland logic wouldnt understand. So no one believes her. They all have the "truth (rumor)" embedded in their heads so whatever the real truth is would seem like some concocted excuse to save a persons rep.

Well Sally what can we do?

Tell your friends?

-why would they believe you they dont wanna be caught with the local whore

Ask the guys to confess what they did and stomp out the rumor?

-haha right cause a guy would actually do that, we don't live in the 18th century

Try to stomp it out yourself?

-why would they believe you their only gunna think its an excuse

Theres few options that are available to anyone like this, leave, or die.

Which is really sad because we know which is better, but we also know which one people choose more.

So where do you live?

isolation?

wonderland?

or

reality?

and by reality i mean like where you have an open mind and can accept the truth, and are smart enough to filter truth from rumor.

after this think about all the rumors you ever heard about a person and think, is that really true?

lets not make a crack into the grand canyon, or else were all doomed.
